I have seen gold prices go up and down in recent years, anywhere from $600 to $1000, but it always seems to remain in that monetary ballpark. What would it take to make gold prices go way down, say to less than $400, short of some major gold mining discovery?

I would like to know what you think of the price of gold will be inabiut a week.will they go up or down? What determines what the price of gold will be? Will it reach the $1000 mark or maybe go higher? I have been monitoring the price of gold and too me it looks unpredictable, although. What do professionals look at whhen they try to predict the value. 10 points will be given to the answer that answers all qustions clearly and simply and seriesly. Thanks in advance for all who answer and good luck!!!!
